I (“Participant”) agrees to the following terms and conditions regarding my participation in any and all 2022 Art2Life (“A2L”) Destination Workshops.  

WORKSHOP COST AND ACCOMMODATIONS. There are five rooming options at Haramara: single occupancy, double occupancy, triple occupancy, quadruple occupancy, and dormitory. Double occupancy cabanas have two twin beds in them, triple occupancy cabanas have three twin beds in them, quadruple occupancy cabanas have four twin beds in them, and the dormitory has a total of eight twin bed. The cost breakdown for these five rooming options is as follows:

Single Occupancy Room: $5060
Double Occupancy Room: $3960
Triple Occupancy Room: $3520
Quad Occupancy Room: $3190
Dorm: $2750 -
The dorm option is available only to female workshop participants. 

Please note that the above fee covers full room and board. You - the participant - are responsible for incidentals not included in the above price.

Please note that all shared accommodations are co-ed, unless specified otherwise.

Spaces are reserved for those individuals who will be participating in the workshop.

All areas of the retreat are connected by a network of unpaved trails. Some of them are steep and can be slippery. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended. Due to the nature of the terrain of the Haramara Retreat it is not recommended for young children or persons with limited or impaired mobility.

SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS. Deposit due upon workshop sign up. Your deposit is 1/3rd of the total workshop fee and is non-refundable, unless we can your spot is filled by another attendee.

2nd payment 30 days after signing up (1/3 of the total workshop fee).

3rd and final payment 60 days after signing up (remaining balance).

Workshop fee must be paid in full prior to the the start of the workshop. All payments are non-refundable (unless the workshop is sold out and your spot your spot is filled by another attendee – once the new attendee has paid in full, your refund will take up to 30 days to process)

PAYMENT OPTIONS. For deposits and payments, we accept all major credit cards and Paypal. If you opt to pay by credit card, once your deposit has been processed, your remaining payment(s) will be charged to your credit card according to the schedule below. You will be notified of all charges and be sent a receipt via email.

REFUND POLICY. Due to the popularity of Art2Life workshops, we recommend signing up as early as possible to secure your spot, which requires a deposit that is 1/3rd of your total workshop fee. Deposits are non-refundable unless we are able to fill you spot.

If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Should you decide to not attend within 30 days of the start of the workshop, you will be responsible for paying the workshop fee in full, unless we are able to fill your spot. We usually have a waiting list for our workshops and we will do our best to fill your spot in order to refund your deposit.

Please note - if you request a refund, Art2Life is not responsible for any differences in refund amounts due to variations in currency exchange rates, or service fees incurred by your financial institution.

If you are unable to attend the workshop because your country of origin has enacted Covid-19 restrictions that prevent you from traveling, and we are not able to find a replacement for you, we will not issue a full refund. For this reason, we strongly recommend travel insurance.

If you do have to cancel and we find a replacement for you, please note that if you received a Workshop Art Kit from A2L, you will have two options. You can return the workshop art kit to A2L or you can purchase the kit for the full retail price, plus the cost of shipping (just click here to purchase – when you check out, be certain to write in the notes section that you already have the art kit). We will refund the amount you paid for the workshop less the amount of the kit + shipping until we hear back from you regarding the option you chose. TRAVEL INSURANCE. We strongly recommend travel insurance for your airfare and workshop fees in case you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. One travel insurance option is Alianz Travel Insurance. Participants are responsible for ensuring that coverage extends fully to Covid-19 related cancellations.

COVID-19 AND VACCINATION POLICY. While proof of vaccination is not required to attend an Art2Life Destination workshop, the participant is responsible for being compliant with all travel guidelines. The workshop participant is also responsible for consulting your country of origin's specific requirements for returning home.

Art2Life reserves the right to make, in its sole discretion, changes to our Covid & Vaccination Policy in order to comply with third party requirements, including but not limited to the following: CDC Guidelines, the Workshop venue guidelines, travel restrictions (imposed by the airline or country), and vaccination requirement updates. Notwithstanding the foregoing, participants and employees shall be solely responsible for complying with any and all rules, guidelines and regulations prior to, during and following the Workshop, including but not limited to imposed quarantine, face coverings, restrictions and necessary permissions.

In the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to pandemic, acts of government, or weather events, Art2Life reserves the right to cancel or postpone this Workshop in its sole discretion, and shall not be held liable for any failure to perform or delay. A2L will transfer any payments made by participants to a future Workshop of equal value, or provide participants with the option to receive a refund in full.

During the Workshop, A2L will adhere to then-applicable Covid-19 guidelines. Participants and employees shall hold A2L, its owners, agents and representatives, harmless in the event of any Covid-19-related illness, liability, cost or claim, including but not limited to medical care required during or after the Workshop.

PARTICIPATION. Participant understands that Participant’s results are not guaranteed by A2L and that, further, Participant’s results are reliant on Participant’s own efforts and implementation of the suggestions and teachings of A2L. A2L reserves the right to release any Participant from the workshop. Additionally, by registering for this workshop, you are consenting to share your name and email with fellow workshop participants.

WORK PRODUCT OWNERSHIP. Any copyrightable works, ideas, discoveries, inventions, patents, products, or other information (collectively the "Work Product") shared by A2L in connection with the Services are the exclusive property of A2L. Artwork created by the Participant during this Agreement shall be the exclusive property of the Participant.  

MEDIA RELEASE. Participant grants to A2L , and his or her legal representatives and assigns, the right to use and publish video, photographs, digital images, and copies of artwork provided and taken by Participant for its use in its marketing and sales materials. The video and / or photographs may be used in any media, so long as they accompany the article originally provided by Participant and are attributed to Participant. Participant permits alterations for the purposes of file size and image adjustment for teaching purposes. . Participant hereby releases A2L and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs. Participant acknowledge that he or she is over the age of 18.  

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROVISIONS. Participant agrees that he or she shall not use, commercialize or disclose the Proprietary Information taught in the course, including the downloadable materials to any other person or entity. Participant shall not develop or acquire new workshops or programs incorporating the Proprietary Information taught to it as part of this workshop. The parties acknowledge and agree that any and all new variations of this workshop shall be considered included within the definition of "Proprietary Information" for purposes of this entire Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any new workshop, programs or systems that are not derivations of, variations upon, or confusingly similar to, the Proprietary Information that are developed by Participant shall be the sole property of Participant.  

ASSIGNMENT. Except as otherwise expressly stated, neither this Agreement nor any of the rights, interests or obligations hereunder may be assigned, transferred, conveyed or delegated by either A2L or the Participant in any manner without the prior written consent of the other party.  

INDEMNIFICATION. The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the A2L from claims and suits including court costs, attorney's fees, arising out of or resulting from any use, reuse, or modification of the A2L’s Services and proprietary methods.  

CHOICE OF LAW, FORUM. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without reference to or use of any conflicts of laws provisions. The parties hereto agree that with respect to any disputes, actions, suits or proceedings arising in connection with this Agreement, venue will be in the State of California in the action is brought by participant against A2L. In the event an action is brought by A2L against the Participant, suit may be filed in the State of California. A2L retains and reserves all rights to enforce this agreement internationally, without borders  

SURVIVAL. All provisions shall survive expiration or termination of this Agreement for any reason and shall remain in full force and effect in accordance with their respective terms, without modification, limitation or impairment of any kind.  

STATUS OF THE PARTIES. This Agreement does not create, is not intended to create, and shall not be interpreted or construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment between Participant and A2L.  

NOTICES. All notices and other communications under this Agreement must be in writing and will be deemed given (a) when delivered personally, (b) on the fifth day after being mailed by certified mail, return receipt requested, or (c) the next day after delivery to a recognized overnight courier.  

ATTORNEYS' FEES AND COSTS. Each party agrees to bear their own attorneys' fees or other costs in the event such costs are incurred to secure performance of any obligations, or to establish damages for the breach or to obtain any other appropriate relief. The parties further agree to mediate this matter prior to litigation utilizing a certified mediator.  

SEVERABILITY. If any part of this contract is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this contract shall not be affected and shall remain in full force and effect.  

BINDING EFFECT. This Agreement will be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns.  

These Terms and Conditions contain the entire agreement and understanding of the parties hereto. Any representation, condition or promise not contained expressly herein shall not be binding upon either party. Any amendment or modification of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of each party.
